  2. Comfortable, simply furnished apartment on 12 South

Location of this apartment was perfect... easy walk to 12 South and Belmont U. Minimally furnished, but met my needs for a 3 week stay. Garage parking provided; fitness room available ( and most mornings I was the only one using it); no dresser in bedrooms to unpack clothes, but I bought some additional hangers so I could hang up clothes; kitchen equipt so I could eat in if I wanted (after trip to grocery store.... closest grocery store a little over a mile away). Property managers were responsive.

  3. Good for the price

This is a very basic, modern apartment. We weren't planning on spending much time indoors, so it fit our needs. The location is not far from downtown, and just across from Belmont University. (If it hadn't been pouring rain on Saturday we would have walked up to the mansion for the tour.) The parking garage was good to have since parking in Nashville can be hard to find. There are a few places close by for coffee and a light breakfast to start the day. The Jam is a block away and does offer muffins and egg sandwiches. Unfortunately, they don't open until 9:00 on Saturday, and are closed on Sunday. The Cookery, right across the street, has very limited hours, and is closed Saturday. Heading south (I think) about a half mile easy walk you can find Franklin Juice Company. They do serve coffee, even though the website doesn't indicate it. The Acai Bowls are delicious and full of fruit. We didn't try 5 Daughters Bakery, but heard the Cronuts are great. There are other restaurants within a mile, but we were out and about after breakfast each day.

This location was perfect for our group of 4 adults. We could take Uber downtown for a nominal fee and see everything we wanted. The rooms were great, very clean and quiet. We really enjoyed the place across the street for breakfast.

  6. Great 2 bdrm apartment near Belmont U

under $10 Uber ride to Broadway/downtown music/bar scene. Very clean and well appointed apartment. The building itself is brand new. Perks? There are 2 gas grills outside. There's a "clubhouse" on the 5th floor with a table shuffleboard that's great fun. And if your a cyclist, there's a bicycle maintenance station in the garage (covered and gated for security) where you can do a quick tune up, AND has all the tools already there for your ease and convenience. The balcony was nice to have with a slider you can leave open depending upon weather.

  8. good stay overall

Cool area with a fair amount of what seemed to be college students living in the building, which is just a block or so away from Belmont University. The location was really the highlight of our stay. Nashville is a great city and this place is nicely located for short drives to everything you want to see and get to. The balcony is probably the second best part. My wife and I had breakfast and lunch on it everyday and enjoyed the warm weather and nice surroundings. Which leads to the third best part -- the kitchen and amenities. We stayed for 3 nights so bought some groceries so we didn't have to eat out for every meal. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, glassware, silverware, etc. Even had salt, pepper, and packets of olive oil. The fridge was important in preserving the fruits and veggies we bought. There's even a dishwasher, washer, and dryer; which we were tempted to use to justify the ridiculous "cleaning fee". There were some little things here and there with the room. But, it seems like a fairly new building so that's understandable. Unfortunately, on the second morning there we awoke to a fire alarm around 7 am. Everyone had to exit the building and wait for the fire fighters to come and do their thing (alarm most likely from someone doing their hair or from cooking). Reminded me of freshman year in college when funny guys would pull the fire alarms late at night.

  9. Birthday in Nashville

We spent 5 days in Nashville for my wife's birthday and stayed at the Chelsea Apts. during our visit. The location is 1 mile from the Gulch area and 2 miles from Broadway. Lyft will get you to either for about $8 or less. There is also a nice area of restaurants and cafes just 3/4 mile south on 12th Ave. A comfortable walk there and back. Hattie B's location on south 8th Ave is also a comfortable 3/4 mile walk and well worth the effort! The apt was clean, seemed to be reasonably well equipped (we did not do any cooking) and was moderately comfortable (modern style furniture, not much cushion) The master bedroom (or in the walk-thru closet) could use a dresser so you have some drawer storage. We did not appreciate having to live out of suitcases for 5 days. Overall, we enjoyed the accommodations and LOVED the city and music. Dave & Mary Muskego, WI.

Good location, but need either car or Lift/Uber. Very basic and minimal furnishings that could use replacing. Appliances need repair or replacement (washer mostly it also refer). TV worst ever; could not get any live programming, only pre-taped segments including news and major channels. Strange! Would not stay here again inspite of location.

  11. Basic accomodations

The apartments was located in a good neighborhood. There are a few good restaurants within ten minute walk. The apartment is in a relatively new building. There is plenty of room between the 2 bed rooms and 2 baths. The furniture is very basic. The chairs and couch in the living room are very uncomfortable. Beds are OK. I would not want to try to sleep 2 people on either bed.

  12. Proximity to The Gulch and Downtown is the best feature

The condo itself is nothing special. And for what we paid we expected more. The condo is about a year old and is already showing wear. Shower in one bathroom has mold between wall tile and shower floor. Furniture is very cheap and is showing wear. Thankfully we didn't spend much time in the unit as we were out and about during the days and evenings - thankfully! It was only about $6 to get downtown using LYFT. That was the best value. We stayed in the unit for 3 nights in October 2018.

The condo was delightful. There are a few things I would’ve changed. Window coverings for the west patio door would’ve been wonderful on very sunny afternoons. Also a towel rack in bathroom off of kitchen would be helpful.

  14. Dormigo Airbnb

Stayed in a Dormigo Airbnb in Nashville Tennessee. Would recommend them everyone! From the moment I logged on to their website, they were friendly, easy to deal with or ask questions. When we arrived in Nashville the 2 young ladies that gave us the keys and instructions were awesome. Very courteous and helpful. The apartment we got was great. Clean, bright and comfortable. The basics were there, ie: towels, soap/shampoo, dishwasher/laundry soap, coffee, filters, etc. The entire experience has definitely convinced me, (our group also), that we will be using Airbnb again.

The location and condo was excellent. Walking distance to Belmont U, 12th street restaurants/shops. Condo was clean and nice accommodations. Would have given it a 5 star but on Sunday our toilet was clogged and when I called for a repair the response was not what I expected. The young lady told me that it would be difficult to get someone there and you have a 2nd bathroom. I figured that out myself, but I did pay for the two working bathrooms was my response. She then proceeded to tell me to use the plunger but mind you someone cut the handle in half so my hand was in the water( kinda gross). Come to find out when I followed up on Monday, there was nothing in my file. The lady working on Monday was much better and the toilet got fixed. Not happy since this is a vacation stay and should be fixed regardless of day of the week or Holiday.
