  1. Austin unit

My stay got off to a rough start. Trying to find my unit in this grouping of 13 buildings took half an hour of walking around in 96 degree heat. Front office was closed. Finally called Dormigo and learned that my unit was not on the first floor, as promised. Found the building with the help of a brand new agent at Dormigo. Dragged my heavy suitcase up a flight of stairs. The unit was comfortable enough and was located just down the street from the Continental Club. I dropped some coins on the living room couch and discovered lots of food debris under the cushions. Paying a cleaning company $115 per stay makes me wonder what exactly they are asked to do! The bedrooms had no dressers, and you can't hang up underwear that easily.... They also had no clock or radio in the bedrooms, and only one mirror that was not floor length. I could not figure out how to watch regular network t.v., but lots of options for Hulu, Netflicks, etc., but for me that level of tech is not one that I am familiar with. It seems that all of these items could have easily been dealt with by leaving clear details via email or text. Perhaps next time....

  2. Cute Little Place!

This is a nice little apartment in Austin. Good Price. It is in a nice location, and has a nice pool and a small clean gym. Funtional Kitchen, I had some work to do, the Internet didn't work so I emailed the people at Dormigo, and they reset the internet. They were kind and nice to deal with. The carpets in the Apartment are disgusting, they need to be shampooed or buy some rugs. There is only one wash cloth and towel per person, no bathroom rugs, and one dish towel. Bring some wash pods, they only leave you a couple. If you are use to quiet night sleep, bring ear plugs or I downloaded a white noise app on my phone. You are right by the stairs and your hear people run up and down all night and the person upstairs was sorting bottles, playing video games. My daughter was there for a Volleyball camp. I asked for one hour later check out so she could shower before we flew out and they wanted to charge $70, go with a private owned rental if you need someone to accommodate your schedule.

  3. Mediocre Experience

The apartment I stayed at with Dormigo was mediocre at best. The carpets were very stained and dirty and the decor was just okay. I found a cockroach in the bedroom and the toilet paper roll holder was broken and kept falling off when I would try to get any toilet paper off. The beds were comfortable enough, but nothing amazing, and there were stains on the comforter. Overall I wasn't impressed by the apartment itself. The location was okay, but I was in an apartment at the very back of the complex, which made it difficult to come back and forth with a Lyft or Uber and made leaving with all of my luggage on the final day a big hassle. One day while taking a rest during a very short break from my work conference, a man knocked on my door and asked to come in to check the fire detectors. As a female staying alone in a place I'm not familiar with, this was very unsettling. The people at the complex were nice and even offered to help me with my luggage as I hauled it out to the front curb on the last day. I won't recommend this place to anyone and can find better accommodations for the same price or less next time I'm in Austin.

  4. Family and friends visits

My nieces were very happy with the accommodations. They did say that the coffee maker wasn’t working, but had a great stay. The location was very centrally located and right on SoCo. We will definitely use this place again for visiting family and friends.

  6. Never Again

First of all, the property is under major amenities pool, no fitness center. Second, the wall-to-wall carpet is badly stained and disgusting. The walls are also stained. The cleaning service left dirty towels that were actually not dry...slightly damp and smelled of mildew. But really, what was the most irritating, was Dormigo’s staff. I was relatedly given the brush off until one girl finally told me I had no recourse because nothing in the Dormigo’s bookings are guaranteed. I’d definitely NOT rent this unit...and I’d be weary of renting anything thru Dormigo.
